Description

The Software Development Kit (SDK) for the OMAP-L138 provides a set of pre-tested system software components that enable OEMs to quickly develop applications based on the OMAP-L138 and related processors. These kits include the Linux kernel, boot-loader, middleware, device drivers, DSP software components, an application framework, as well as build tools. By making all the basic system software components immediately available, the kit allows developers to focus on their application code, where they can add the most differentiation. This software is free and does not require any run-time royalties. These SDKs are optimized for:

  • OMAP-L138/TMS320C6748 Evaluation Module (EVM)
  • OMAP-L138 Low-Cost Development Kit

This Generally Available (GA) release of the Linux DVSDK supports TI TMS320DM36x, OMAP-L138, and TMS320DM3730/25 platforms.

The OMAP-L138 Linux SDK for the OMAP-L138/C6748 Development Kit (LCDK) includes the following components:

    • Linux kernel 3.1.10 ported to LCDK board
    • Boot loaders (U-Boot) and flashing utilities
    • Binary images of u-boot and Linux kernel
    • ARM-v5 Linux file system

    • Syslink Inter-Processor Communication
