Overview

With the contents of TI's Multichannel Vocoder Technology Demonstration Kit (TDK), you are now ready to move into the fast track for multichannel vocoder design. This kit contains a rich collection of technical documentation and application software that is ready to run on TI'sC6711 DSK orC6211 DSK.

Features

Use TI's Multichannel Vocoder TDK with either aC6711 DSK orC6211 DSK to learn more about how multichannel vocoders may be implemented on C6000 DSPs. For a serious evaluation, you will want to take a look at the eXpressDSP compliant vocoders from TI's third parties. These third party vocoders are more optimized and will provide greater channel density than the examples included in the TDK from TI. The companies below provide evaluation versions of their eXpressDSP compliant vocoders that run on TI's TDK platform so that you may do your own benchmarking and determine which supplier best satisfies your requirements.

eXpressDSP compliant algorithms and plug-ins offer you an additional level of comfort knowing that the products you are integrating are tested to comply to TI software standards. Algorithms can be integrated easily, relieving development burdens and slashing integration time; flexible plug ins ease the learning curve to start and finish development of robust applications in record time. These companies provide for application-specific plug-in tools and reusable modular software to speed your time to market.
