Description
Featuring a 2.8" QVGA 16-bit color LCD resistive touch panel display , the compact Stellaris® MDL-IDM28 Intelligent Display Module offers a complete graphical Human Machine Interface (HMI) control panel in control, automation, and instrumentation applications. Taking full advantage of the vast connectivity features included in the integrated Stellaris LM3S6918 microcontroller, the MDL-IDM28 offers full 10/100 Ethernet connectivity, which can serve as a standard system network connection for monitoring and control and as a reprogramming interface to update module firmware in the field. In addition to the 256K of single-cycle Flash memory and 64K of single-cycle SRAM available within the integrated LM3S6918 microcontroller, the Intelligent Display Module also includes a 168K of display buffer memory, an SD Card interface, additional serial connectivity options, an audio transducer, a relay output, and four analog measurement inputs. Also, the MDL-IDM28 can be powered with a standard 24 V DC power supply or through 5 V DC terminals.
