Overview

The PMP11774 reference design uses the UCC28911 quasi-resonant flyback converter to generate two isolated outputs (18V @ 0.35A, 5V @ 0.35A). The UCC28911 incorporates a 700V power FET and provides primary-side regulation, eliminating the need for an opto-coupler and reducing the total component count. This results in a compact and cost effective design.
