Description

The PMP1692 reference design is a non-synchronous buck that uses the TPS5430 to generate 5V@3A. The input voltage range is 6V to 18V. This type of design would typically be used with a DC wall adapter to generate a 5V rail for USB. The design also incorporates an extra diode for reverse polarity protection.
