Description

The PMP6910 reference design delivers an isolated 55V at 2A with PFC from a universal AC input. This design is a modified version of the UCC28600 EVM. The PFC boost portion of the design is unchanged from the original EVM. The UCC28600 quasi-resonant flyback has been modified for the higher output voltage. The flyback portion of the design is over 88% efficient. The total input-to-output effciency of the design is 83% from a 120VAC input and 85% from a 240VAC input. For sustained loads over 1.5A, forced air cooling is recommended.
