Overview

The PMP8655 reference design uses the LM5023 quasi-resonant flyback controller to generate 24V@0.7A output from an universal input. Particular attention to light load efficiency resulted in more than 82% efficiency for 1W output power and 90VAC input. In addition, the valley switching of the LM5023 allows this design to achieve a maximum efficiency of 88%.
