Description

Sensorless FOC (Field Oriented Control) for a 3 phase PMSM (Permanent magnet synchronous motor) using a "low cost" current measurement method for closed loop torque control. Position estimation is implemented using a Sliding Mode Observer (SMO) technique requiring only current measurement. Inverter is driven based on a Space vector PWM modulation technique. Based on TMS320C28x™ DSP controllers.
