The THS4504EVM provides a platform for developing high speed fully differential amplifier application circuits. It is populated with components to demonstrate fully differential operation. The user needs only add power, input signal, and test instruments to operate the EVM. The user can change the feedback and gain resistors to change the gain. The device datasheet has a list of recommended resistor values.

  • Power Supply: single 5Vdc, dual +/-5 Vdc
  • Inputs/Outputs can be configured as single-ended, or fully-differential, independently
  • Input impedance is 50W
  • Output Transformer
  • Load resistance of 800W reflected through the transformer
  • Antialiasing and lowpass filter footprints
  • Connections: Vs-, GND, Vs+, Vin+, Vin-, Vout+, Vout-, Vocm, Powerdown, and testpoints
  • Input and Output signals are via SMA connectors, and power connectors are via banana plugs
