Description

This reference design demonstrates a dual isolated, half-duplex repeater with data rate independent flow-control for long-haul RS-485 networks suitable for industrial applications. The design provides transient protection protecting the signal path against ESD, EFT, and surge transients specified in the IEC 61000 family of transient immunity standards.
