Overview

The PGA300 is an all-in-one System on Chip (SoC) for pressure sensor systems, utilizing a third-order pressure and temperature compensation algorithm for linearization. PGA300 also drives the 4- to 20-mA current loop and provides the excitation voltage for the resistive bridge sensor. Due to the highly-integrated PGA300, this reference design minimizes the typical component count and board size for a pressure sensor transmitter without losing accuracy and performance. This design also includes the typical protection circuitry for the industry-standard IEC61000-4 suite of EMC and EMI tests.
