Description

TIDA-01388 is a 21 W dual automotive USB charger solution featuring complete front end protection with small size. The system can clamp fast high-voltage electrical transients and maintain operation through these events. It can also properly respond to a reverse battery polarity event and shut down appropriately.
The design accepts a wide input voltage range of 5.5 V to 36 V and regulates two outputs of 5 V@2.1 A for dual USB ports. EMI filtering circuitry is included and the design is compliant with CISPR 25 Class 5 conducted EMI standards.
