Overview

The TPS56339 evaluation module (EVM) is used to evaluate the TPS56339.The TPS56339 is an Advanced Emulated Current Mode (AECM) synchronous step-down DC/DC converter, being able to deliver 3-A continuous output current, providing an advance Eco-mode™ to maintain high light load efficiency. The TPS56339 integrates 26-V capable MOSFETs which is suitable for applications working from 19-V bus power lines. The TPS56339 employs AECM control architecture that can get both fix switching frequency and fast load transient performance, providing ease of filter design to overcome EMI noise. The internal adaptive zero adjustment eliminate the need for external compensation over a wide output range up to 16 V.

Features
  • Wide input range: 4.5 V to 24 V
  • Wide output voltage range: 0.8 V to 16 V or 95%*VIN
  • Advance emulated current mode control for fix switching frequency and fast transient response with ceramic output capacitors
  • Advanced Eco-mode™ for high light load efficiency
