Description

Dual SOT-23 LDO test and evaluation board with on-board transient-load generator that can implement both line and load transients. Optional user-installed dual SOT-23 socket allows quick comparison of various LDOs.

Features
  1. Load-pulse generator with user-selectable frequency and duty-cycle and adjustable rise-time for:
    1. Line transient testing
    2. Load transient testing
  2. On-board dropout voltage sensing amplifier with 10x gain.
  3. User-selectable minimum/maximum load.
  4. Specifications: (All specifications subject to LDO specs)
    • Vin max = 15V
    • Io max = 2A (power-limited to 1W)
    • Generator duty cycle = 0 - 100%
    • Generator frequency range (recommended) = 100 Hz - 10 kHz
    • Line transient range = ~3% - 10% Vin
    • 10X Sensing amplifier input range = 0 - 1V
    • 10X Sensing amplifier accuracy < 2%
