Note: Consider using the TSW1400EVM for LVDS and CMOS ADC evaluation. This lower cost platform replaces the TSW1200 and TSW1250 and supports all the old and new ADC interfaces. A low cost TSW1405EVM is available for LVDS interfaces with a 64ksample memory limit.

The TSW1200EVM is a circuit board that assists designers in prototyping and evaluating the performance of high speed analog to digital converters (ADCs) that feature parallel or serialized LVDS outputs. The TSW1200EVM allows for easy data capture and offers a flexible evaluation environment for ADC analysis. In addition, the TSW1200EVM features a powerful Virtex 4 FPGA from Xilinx which can be used as a flexible and rapid prototyping environment for designing digital circuits that directly interface to TI LVDS output ADCs.

The TSW1200EVM comes preloaded with data capture routines for 10 to 16-bit ADCs with both parallel and serialized LVDS outputs and is compatible with all ADCs listed in the Related Devices section of this website. If there is any question as to whether or not the TSW1200 supports the ADC of interest, please ask in the e2e forum for High Speed Converters. The EVM can be connected to a PC via a USB cable for data analysis.
