History & overview

The Women of TI Fund was founded in 2001 by 30 TI women executives providing personal contributions to encourage girls to pursue technical careers. Today, it is open to all TIers and friends, and a contribution of any amount is welcome.

The Women of TI Fund is a donor-advised fund at the Dallas Women’s Foundation (DWF). A donor-advised fund is a low cost, flexible vehicle for charitable giving. Donors of funds housed in a public charity receive the maximum tax deduction available.

More than $500,000 has been raised since the Fund’s inception.
