DLP® LightCommander™ is a highly versatile development kit that makes it easy to incorporate DLP technology into light processing applications. The modular architecture includes an optical light engine, industry standard interfaces, and software to expedite system development requiring high-speed spatial light modulation.
At the heart of DLP technology is the Digital Micromirror Device (DMD). DLP LightCommander is powered by the DLP 0.55 XGA Chipset from TI and includes application software to control the DMD micromirror timing for precise, high-speed spatial light modulation.
There are several new embedded design solutions compatible with the DLP 0.55 XGA chipset, including a light engine, controller board and laser light illumination source!
These offerings are available from DLP Design Houses and incorporate improvements requested by DLP LightCommander™ users, such as smaller form factor and more versatile pattern display options. These solutions are compatible with the software and GUI associated with DLP LightCommander™ and the DLPC200 DMD Controller.
DLP 0.55 XGA Chipset
Supports up to 5000 Hz binary or 500 Hz grayscale pattern rates for machine vision, 3D scanning and 3D optical measurement.
