Low-cost device family based on low-power RF technology

The RF Value Line family offers developers low-cost connectivity solutions for sub-1 and 2.4GHz RF applications such as remote controls, toys, pc mouse & keyboard, home and building automation, and security systems.

The CC2543, CC2544 and CC2545 is a family of 2.4GHz RF System-on-Chips with MCU, 32kB flash and 1/2kB RAM on a single die featuring 2mbps data rate, 102dB link budget and <1uA sleep current with sleep timer running. The family members are distinguished by different number sof general I/O pins, while the CC2544 has a USB interface.

The CC110L transceiver, CC113L receiver  and CC115L transmitter devices are all based on TI's Sub-1GHz CC1101 RF technology, and are pin-, register- and code-compatible, as well as backwards compatible with existing sub-1GHz systems. In high volume, the Value Line offers a two-chip, one-way RF link for less than USD $1.00.

The Sub-1 and 2.4GHz Value Line includes new low-cost reference designs, with a compact PCB antenna for 433, 868, 915 and 2400 MHz, featuring a reduced component count and complete designs ready for FCC and ETSI certification. The small-size, compact PCB helix antenna represents only a quarter of the size of previous PCB antennas, and is useful for applications requiring high antenna efficiency in a compact area.

Available Development Kits, Tools and Software

The CC11xLDK-868-915 and CC11xLEMK-433 development kits provide complete hardware performance testing and software development platforms for the Sub-1GHz Value Line product family. SmartRF Studio PC software is used to generate RF settings and IAR or CCS can be used for programming the MSP430F548 included in the CC11xLDK-868-915.

The CC2543-CC2544DK and CC2545EMK kits provide complete hardware performance testing and software development platforms for the 2.4GHz RF Value Line product family. SmartRF Studio PC software is used to generate RF settings and IAR can be used for programming the 8051 core included in the CC254x system-on-chips
