TI’s TPA2015D1 2-W mono Class-D amplifier is an integrated solution that delivers louder audio while simultaneously reducing component count, cost and solution size by 9x, compared to competitive devices.
It delivers 36% louder audio across the entire Li-Ion battery range. It’s also highly efficient, allowing more than 2x the battery life of the nearest competitor amplifier.
The TPA2015D1 is the industry’s first audio amp to feature battery monitoring automatic gain control (AGC) and SpeakerGuard technology to prevent early shutdown at low battery voltages.

TPA2015D1 Features and Benefits:
- Output power
- 2.0W into 8Ω at 3.6V (6% THD) for 36% louder audio than competitive solutions
- Constant output power of 2.0W (3.6V to 5.0V) provides consistent audio loudness across the Li-Ion battery
- Battery monitoring AGC prevents early shutdown at low battery voltages (<3V) and SpeakerGuard™ technology protects speakers by preventing clipping
- High efficiency (81% @ 1W and 3.6V) for 2x longer battery life than the competition
- Ultra-low quiescent current (1.7mA) for 5x lower quiescent current than the competition
- Reduces external components by more than 50% and total solution size to 20.25mm², for small form factor portable applications.
