Green Hills
The GREEN HILLS MULTI IDE offers an integrated development environment with debug, compiler and flash programming tools, including AUTOSAR awareness, performance profiler, project builder, code coverage, run-time error checking, MISRA C adherence wizard, and the DoubleCheck™ integrated static code analyzer. Green Hills has received certificates from both TÜV NORD and exida, making the Green Hills MULTI IDE the only commercially available toolchain certified to satisfy both SIL 4 (Safety Integrity Level) and ASIL D (Automotive Safety Integrity Level) tool qualification requirements.

For the implementation of safety-related functions in accordance with ISO 26262 the package MICROSAR Safe contains protection mechanisms up to ASIL D. The AUTOSAR operating system MICROSAR OS SafeContext from Vector has been certified to ASIL D for the TMS570 processor. In January 2013, TÜV Nord verified that its development conformed to ISO 26262.
