Due to an innovative and proprietary new process technology, LMR33630 is able to reach levels of efficiency never before seen by a SIMPLE SWITCHER family. 12V to 5V conversion efficiencies in excess of 90% are now possible at full load and at 2.1MHz switching frequency, which allows for the use of smaller external components.
The device is offered in the industry-standard 8-pin SOIC package that has been tried and tested for years and continues to be a workhorse in rugged industrial applications. And, coming soon: tiny HotRod® packaging to push efficiency even higher and with an even smaller package footprint – 2mm x 3mm. With wettable flanks, this package option will provide unrivaled performance without sacrificing the ease of use that you expect from a SIMPLE SWITCHER.
