Easy-to-Use Package

SIMPLE SWITCHER Nano Modules & Nano ModulesThe new nano module package boasts a small 2.5 x 3 x 1.2 mm size, making it the tiniest 1A DC/DC solution in the market.

By mounting the IC on a shielded inductor, nano modules save board space and provide a highly integrated solution requiring only an input capacitor, an output capacitor, a Vcon capacitor, and feedback resistors—all in 35 mm2 PCB space.

High Efficiency

The nano modules improve thermal performance and reduce energy consumption by delivering a peak efficiency of 95%. The high efficiency prolongs battery life and reduces board hot spots in space-constrained applications.

Low Output Ripple

Nano modules operate at a fixed 2 MHz switching frequency, delivering low output ripple and high efficiency. Stable with low-ESR capacitors, a solution using a 10 uF X5R 0805 capacitor has less than 10 mV p-p ripple, replacing LDOs where higher efficiency is needed.

Low EMI

The nano modules' LLP-like footprint allows input caps to be placed as close as possible to the package, reducing the area of high di/dv current paths. Nano modules surpass CISPR22 Class B EMI standards with no additional filtering.

SIMPLE SWITCHER Nano Regulators

SIMPLE SWITCHER nano regulators feature tiny packaging, 1 MHz or greater switching frequency for extremely small surface mount inductors and chip capacitors, and a minimal BOM to reduce board space. All nano regulators are offered in either LLP, SOT-23, or μSMD packaging for added design flexibility.

Flexibility and Ease of Use

Nano regulators provide flexibility by supporting wide input voltage ranges and adjustable output voltages for both step-up and step-down conversion. All nano regulators are internally compensated to minimize component count and reduce overall design complexity. All three packages are 1 mm or less in height.
