Answer: Please visit our Current Openings page where you will have the opportunity to submit your resume and/or apply for specific positions that interest you. We encourage you to apply for a specific position because we receive a high volume of qualified resumes.

2. How long will it take me to submit my resume?

Answer: The time will vary based on the speed of your Internet connection and the way you submit your resume (i.e., upload a resume, paste information from an existing resume or create a new resume.) We recommend you complete the information in as many fields as possible since our recruiters use this data to match your skills and experience with our current job opportunities.

3. What happens after I submit my resume?

Answer: Once your resume is submitted, our Staffing team will have the opportunity to match your skills and experience against TI India’s current business needs. A member of our TI India Staffing organization will contact you if we determine that your qualifications and skills are a strong match for an open position. The next step is a technical phone interview or an on-site interview at a TI facility.

4. How can I improve my chances of being invited to TI for an interview?

5. How long will my resume remain active in TI’s database? How often should I update it?

Answer: Your resume will remain active in our database for the current year plus two years. If your personal or employment information changes, or if you earn an additional degree, certification or acquire new skills, we suggest you update your resume and resubmit it through the Current Openings page.

6. Can I change the information provided to TI after it is submitted?

Answer: Yes. You can submit your updated resume to TI at any time. You may also apply for additional open positions as often as you’d like.

7. How can I learn about the most current jobs available at TI India?

Answer: The Current Openings page gives you a listing of job openings that exist in TI India. This Web site is updated on a regular basis. While the Hot Jobs get listed when you click on the Current Openings link, you can also use the Search button to get a complete list of current openings at TI India. Each opportunity includes a complete job description so you can determine which job may be most appropriate for you. The site also gives you the ability to create a search based on specific parameters and receive automatic notifications via e-mail when a position matching your search criteria becomes available.

8. Does TI India offer relocation packages?

Answer: Yes TI India offers relocation package for outstation candidates and the package depends on case-to-case basis.

9. How can I apply for TI positions that are outside of India?

Answer: TI’s http://careers.ti.com site is global and includes positions outside of India. You can search for positions in specific regions and apply for these positions using the site.

10. Can I send a friend details about career opportunities at TI?

Answer: Yes. If you find a career opportunity that you feel a friend may be interested in and qualified for, you can send the position’s description to them directly via email.

11. Does TI accept resumes from employment agencies?

Answer: TI accepts resumes from Vendors/Employment agencies who have signed a formal agreement with us. Any resume received from an unapproved vendor will be considered unsolicited and will become the property of TI. Employment agencies will receive no payment from TI for unsolicited resumes.

Student Program/Internship

1. Does TI have a student co-op or internship program?

Answer: Yes, we offer a number of opportunities for students pursuing degrees at all education levels. Our programs are available to students pursuing their Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD Degrees.

2. What is the best way to apply for an internship?

Answer: We get in touch with campuses to recruit students for summer internship. However you may also send your application to Interns@list.ti.com.
