Texas Instruments India Science and Technology Quiz

 

Registering for the Quiz:

  • Click on Register Online.
  • The link will take you to a Google form. Please note that you need a valid Gmail ID to access this form.
  • In case you do not have a Gmail account – You can either create one yourself or you can contact our team to help you out with this.
  • Enter the details as requested in the form.

 

General guidelines:

  • All further correspondence will be made with the Email ID mentioned under ‘Email ID for correspondence’
  • You have the option of submitting details of up to 6 teams per school.- In order to do so, choose ‘Yes’ in the ‘Add another team’ option. Selecting ‘No’ will submit the form.
  • If you have logged in using your Gmail ID, you will be able to modify the entries at a later date.
  • Prior (online) registration is mandatory at least 1 week before the quiz (refer to the dates of the quiz in your region).
  • On submission of the form, you will receive an email confirmation of your registration.
  • You will receive a mail form the Quiz team with your team details – in the email id provided during registration, please take a print of the same and have it attested by your school authorities before you come for the quiz.
  • All students must carry a pen/pencil along with a cardboard/write pad for the preliminary round

Rules

  • Participants must carry the attested consent form with the Principal's signature and seal without which they will NOT be allowed to take part in the Quiz.
  • Participants of regional rounds must make their own arrangements for transport
  • All students must come in their school uniforms, preferably accompanied by a teacher.
  • All students must carry a pen/pencil and a cardboard pad for the preliminary round.
  • All participating teams would go through a preliminary written round, of which 6 teams would go into the Regional finals.
  • Printed books and electronic gadgets (cellphones,tablets,laptops) are not allowed inside the hall for the written round.
  • At most two teams from the same school would be qualified to compete in the Regional finals.
  • The winning team from the Regional finals would qualify for the National Finals to be held in Bangalore.
  • The Regional winning teams would be sponsored the travel and stay for the National finals.
  • The decision of the quiz master is final in any cases of ambiguity.
