Comprehensive Battery Pack Monitoring for Hybrid & Electric Vehicles

This video provides an overview of TI's precision automotive hybrid and electric vehicle battery pack monitoring reference design. The number of hybrid and electric vehicles is growing dramatically and these vehicles require precision monitoring of several parameters related to the internal battery that is used to energize the electric traction drive motor. This reference design implements an automotive-qualified 12-bit, 4 channel 1 MSPS SAR ADC, ADS7950-Q1 with isolated system hardware design.
