How to design your standalone USB Type-C™ PD charging solution

USB Type-C™ power delivery (PD) offers a universal solution for charging battery-powered devices. TI has created a chipset, including the TPS25750 USB PD controller and BQ25792 buck-boost battery charger, to provide a standalone USB PD 3.0-compliant charging solution for 45-Watt systems. This session will explore the reference design for TI’s standalone charging solution, including the TPS25750 and BQ25792 configuration environment and how to build a fully functioning power bank.
