9.1.1 Driving Multiple Loads With a Single CDC6Cx

The CDC6Cx oscillator can be used to drive multiple loads to achieve cost reduction and BOM simplification. Be aware that using this technique degrades signal integrity and decreases performance. A good set of guidelines to follow when driving multiple loads include aiming to drive only two loads, maximizing common trace lengths across loads, and limiting total receiver capacitance to maximize fast rise and fall times.
