PRODUCTION DATA
Refer to the PDF data sheet for device specific package drawings
The DRV2624 uses a signed data format (2's complement) to specify the magnitude and direction of the drive. The actuator can be driven in either closed-loop or open-loop. In closed-loop, positive numbers indicate the magnitude of the drive desired. Negative numbers are interpreted as a brake signal, which is automatic in closed-loop. In open-loop, positive and negative numbers are required to specify amplitude magnitude for both driving and braking. In the case that automatic braking is selected for open loop, then any negative number is interpreted as a brake signal.
