Design Requirements

Unlike an optocoupler-based solution, which requires several external components to improve performance, provide bias, or limit current, the ISOW14x2 devices only require external bypass capacitors to operate as shown in above application diagram. Because of high peak currents flowing through VDD and VISOOUT supplies, bulk capacitance of minimum 10 μF is recommended on both pins. Higher values of bulk capacitors will attenuate noise and ripple further, enhancing performance.
