The switching frequency is set at 440kHz by resistor RT. Table 7-5 cites the selected buck regulator powertrain components, and many of the components are available from multiple vendors. The MOSFETs in particular are chosen for both lowest conduction and switching power loss, as discussed in detail in Section 7.1.1.4.
