Select R1 and R2, as shown in Figure 8-9.

Use Equation 7 to select the appropriate resistor values.

Equation 7. VOUT=VREF1+R2R1 where VREF =1.23 V

R1 can be between 1k and 5k. (For best temperature coefficient and stability with time, use 1% metal film resistors)
