9.2.1.2.15 VIN Pin Configuration

The VIN pin must always be connected to the HV voltage rail. It is good practice to add a small RC filter to improve the VIN noise immunity, as shown in Figure 58. Usually the filter resistor selection is 10 to 20 Ω, and the bypass capacitor is 0.1 µF to 1.0 µF.
