7.1 Overview

The TMP117 is a digital output temperature sensor designed for thermal-management and thermal-protection applications. The TMP117 is two-wire, SMBus, and I2C interface-compatible. The device is specified over an ambient air operating temperature range of –55 °C to 150 °C. Figure 7-1 shows a block diagram of the TMP117.
