9 Power Supply Recommendations

The input of the TPS7A90 is designed to operate from an input voltage range between 1.4 V and 6.5 V and with an input capacitor of 10 µF. The input voltage range must provide adequate headroom in order for the device to have a regulated output. This input supply must be well regulated. If the input supply is noisy, additional input capacitors can be used to improve the output noise performance.
