5.2 Hardware Setup: Real Decimation Mode

  • On ADC3660EVM, shunt J14 (2-3) to use USB power.
  • Connect ADC sampling clock source (SMA100A used) to J8. Set signal power to +15 dBm. 65 MSPS used in this example.
  • Connect DCLKIN clock source (SMA100A used) to J10. Set signal power to +13 dBm. 16.25 MHz used in this example
Attention:

ADC sampling clock source and DCLKIN source must be frequency locked. If this is not performed, the captured data is not recognizable.

  • Connect Analog input source (SMA100A used) to J2 for CHA. 1 MHz used in this example (with bandpass filter).
  • Connect Mini-USB cable from PC to J15 on ADC3660EVM.
  • Push button S1 to reset ADC
