Selecting the BMSP GPIOs with a Software-based Implementation

Question: Is there a way to implement a software-based boot loading process without manual intervention?

Answer: C2000™ Software Controlled Firmware Update Process application report [7] describes a software-controlled firmware update process on C2000 devices using existing boot modes without the need to manually select boot mode. The method described in this document directly applies to F28004x device and can be applied to legacy devices with necessary modifications.
