3.1 ADS1x15EVM-to-PAMBoard Interface

The ADS1x15EVM supports the digital I2C and functional modes as detailed in the ADS1115 data sheet (or the ADS1015 data sheet). The PAMBoard operates at a 3.3-V logic level and the digital I/O lines of the ADC are level shifted to match the operating voltage of the ADS1x15.

Digital interface connections to the PAMBoard include power, I2C, and a GPIO connection used for triggering an alert at the end of conversion if enabled. The digital connections are highlighted in the silkscreen, as shown in Figure 3-1. Details regarding the connections are shown in Table 3-1.
