Triggering the clear input (CLR) more often than 11.4 × trr may affect long term reliability of the device. Repeated fast triggering of the clear input causes excessive average current at the RC pin.
Triggers may be ignored during startup time. External timing capacitor takes time to charge during startup; wait at least one retirgger time (trr) for most accurate first pulse results.
