7.3.1.1 Voltage Feedforward

By implementing input voltage feed forward, the FBReplica is proportional to the input power and inversely proportional to the magnitude of the resonant tank capacitance. Rewriting the Equation 4 with input voltage feedforward applied.

Equation 4. FBReplica=2Cr×K1× Pinavg  +K2×IRAMP

Where K1 and K2 are internal synthesizer gains. The input voltage to the LLC power stage is periodically sensed on the BLK pin. A periodic average of the input voltage is used to adjust the feed forward gain to make the control signal proportional to input power. More details are found in Section 7.3.2.
