Region-based Address Translation (RAT): A mechanism that enables memory map segment relocation by modifying the target address of memory requests. RAT performs address translation only and preserves the following request attributes:
There are up to 4 RAT regions supported. The RAT[n]_RBA (n=0,1,2,3) specifies the base address of a RAT region ānā. It is the source address for matching to a region. The RAT[n]_RTA (n=0,1,2,3) specifies the translated address of a RAT region ānā. It is the translated address to which the source address is mapped.
The size of a RAT region is specified by the RAT control register field RAT[n]_CTRL.SIZE. Setting the RAT[n]_CTRL.REN bit will enable the address translation for that particular region.
