TI’s community guidelines for social media channels
TI’s social media channels aim to provide a space to learn about TI and how our technology and people are changing the world. To help ensure the safety of all of our fans and followers, please respect others on TI’s official social media pages by following our community guidelines.
All individuals are expected to comply with the respective social network’s community guidelines, Terms of Use and any other applicable conditions listed by the social network. This includes, but is not limited to the community guidelines for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter / X, YouTube, WeChat and others.
TI employees are expected to follow these guidelines, as well as our company’s online communications guidelines, ethics policies and Code of Conduct. TI reserves the right to report or block users and remove or hide comments, photos, videos or content that violates our below community guidelines, including but not limited to content that:
- Is abusive or discriminates against other users
- Has inflammatory religious or partisan political content
- Is hateful, defamatory or libelous
- Promotes bigotry, racism, sexism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age
- References or links to a third-party site that violates these community guidelines
- Violates or infringes upon the copyrights, trademarks, privacy, property, publicity or other intellectual property rights of any person or entity
- Includes language or pictures that contain nudity, are explicit, lewd, obscene and/or similarly offensive to the community
- Promotes alcohol abuse, illegal drugs or substances (or the use of any of the foregoing)
- Promotes any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous
- Is unlawful or in any violation of any law
- Is knowingly or maliciously false or misleading
- Solicits community members for businesses, organizations or support unrelated to Texas Instruments
- Contains spam, including multiple posts with the same copy or image
Please keep in mind that TI does not represent or endorse any views or opinions expressed on our social media pages. Content submitted by anyone other than TI is the responsibility of the submitter.
The information individuals choose to share on Texas Instruments’ social media channels (comments, posts, photos, videos, etc.) may be highlighted or reposted by Texas Instruments on its pages.
These guidelines are not intended to restrict employees' rights under the National Labor Relations Act (USA) or any other applicable law. Accordingly, these guidelines shall not restrict employees from communicating about their terms and conditions of employment, or refrain from doing so. Remember, you are more likely to resolve work-related complaints by speaking directly with coworkers or by utilizing internal resources (e.g., your supervisor, Human Resources, Ethics) than by posting complaints to a social media platform.
