PHYTEC built a new Industrial Communication “Pinger” Demo that uses the Texas Instruments AM6442 processor on three phyCORE-AM64x development kits (pictured above) to communicate over EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP and PROFINET. Their demo is a great starting point for anyone building factory automation products that use popular fieldbus protocols.
