The TMUX405x-Q1 devices are general purpose complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) multiplexers (MUX). The TMUX4051-Q1 is an 8:1, 1-channel multiplexer, the TMUX4052-Q1 is a 4:1, 2-channel multiplexer. The devices work with a single supply (3 V to 24 V), dual supplies (±3 V to ±12 V), or asymmetric supplies (such as VDD = 12 V, VSS = –5 V). The wide supply voltage range allows the TMUX405x-Q1 devices to be used in a broad array of applications from factory automation to appliances.

The TMUX405x-Q1 devices support bidirectional analog and digital signals on the source (Sx) and drain (Dx) pins ranging from VSS to VDD. All logic inputs have 1.8 V logic compatible thresholds, ensuring both TTL and CMOS logic compatibility when operating with a valid supply voltage.
