Overview

Our integrated circuits and reference designs help you create smarter and more efficient DC fast charging stations that charge electric vehicles (EVs). Whether it is a power factor correction (PFC) stage, DC/DC power stage design or the central control system, we have the right ingredients to design an efficient DC charging station.

Design requirements:

DC fast charging station designs require expertise to achieve:

  • Accurate sensing and control of power output directly to the vehicle battery.
  • High-power density to support faster and higher power charging standards.
  • Efficient PFC and DC/DC conversion to reduce losses.
  • Human machine interface (HMI) to ease user interaction with the system.
