Overview

Since the introduction of turbo in automobiles, there has been a constant trend to increase the efficiency and performance of the powertrain system. The initial approach of utilizing exhaust gas power to increase intake air pressure was successful. Newer topologies, such as supercharger and eTurbo/charger systems, electrically increase the pressure of intake air to significantly improve the power of the engine.
