Overview

Our integrated circuits and reference designs help you create compact and accurate linear motor position sensors with high resolution and accuracy over a wide temperature range. A high-speed interface enables low latency data transmission to the linear motor segment controller.

Design requirements

Linear motor position sensor systems often require:

  • Magnetic or inductive sensors with high linearity and high bandwidth.
  • High resolution, low latency and time synchronized linear position decoding.
  • Low latency and fast serial interface to the segment controller with high EMC immunity.
