Off-highway vehicles control

Overview

Our integrated circuits and reference designs help you innovate and differentiate your system controller/electronic control unit (ECU) used in equipment for agriculture, construction, material handling, forklifts and more. The system controller communicates using standardized protocols ISO 11898 or derived standards of this protocol like ISO 11783 and SAE J1939.

Design requirements

Off-highway vehicles control systems often require:

  • A communication gateway to separate the control systems network from the VCU network.
  • Highly-efficient drive capabilities to control small valves, solenoids, motors and pumps.
  • Systems to operate with a limited power budget.
  • Easy connection of diagnostic tools and cloud services to enhance capabilities of diagnostic and fault feedback.
