Overview

Our integrated circuits and reference designs help you design processor module designs used for implementing protection, control, monitoring, data storage and external high-speed communication interfaces in protection relays.

Design requirements

Next-generation processor modules often require:

  • Standardized architecture, scalable performance and integration of peripherals.
  • High/low speed interfaces to implement industry-standard protocols.
  • High-speed bus to communicate with peripherals and plug-in modules in real time.
  • Flexible power management for core and peripherals enabling fanless operation.
