Remote power distribution automation

Block diagram

Overview

Our integrated circuits and reference designs help you create remote power distribution automation systems for regulating transmission voltage and improving power quality by continuously providing variable leading/lagging power and protecting the grid from bad harmonics.

Design requirements

Remote power distribution automation designs often require:

  • Accurate current and voltage measurement for the electronic control unit.
  • Fast start-up devices.
  • Integration for compact designs.
