Temperature controller

Block diagram

Overview

Our integrated circuits and reference designs enable you to build a temperature controller based on proportional–integral–derivative (PID) controller loops using universal inputs for measuring signals from different types of temperature sensors.

Design requirements

Temperature controller designs often require:

  • Controlling temperature outputs through 0-10 V, 4-20 mA, SSR or mechanical relays.
  • Temperature precision sensing.
  • Multi-protocol industrial communication.
